This extractor was bought last winter, but I switched to steam this summer and use my shop vac when necessary. So it was used a few times but still looks and runs like new.

450 plus shipping. P/U preferred. I have some interest already on it, but I need pronto money right now.

    hi,

I saw online that you sold your aztec hot rod carpet extractor and posted that you switched to "steam". i am researching getting a carpet extractor and after I saw your post and the great work you do online, I had to email you to find out more about steam cleaing carpets.

can you tell me what unit you use that uses steam to remove stains from the carpets?

    thanks

I use the VX5000 by Vapor Systems. I pre-treat and agitate when necessary with lane cleaner or whatever else I may need. Sometimes, too, if I end up getting the surface too wet, I rigid vac the area afterwards as well. But I would say most stains, carpets, upholstery, and vinyl/leather just need a couple shots of steam and a microfiber.
