WOW! One of my favorite suppliers is going out of business. The site lists person / family reasons for the big decision, which is quite understandable with a new addition to the family.

I wish Bob and his family the best. I truly loved some of his products, and many of you know what a great product the Wet Glaze was, let alone the highly underrated Danase Paint Sealant (new version).

Looks like everything will be listed until it is sold out, so now is the time to stock up!

Danase.com for those who haven`t gone to the site before

Yeah, this was a bit of a shock, especially on the heels of Excel going out. I`m going to presume the economy and winter had some roles in these decisions, as well.

I know ....man...I just bought some stuff from him and had some very good communications. He`s a great person and I wish him the best. He does have some very good deals right now...I just bought the last two bottles of DWG plus some other goodies. I hope he at least breaks even on everything.

I thought Patrick was just purging his stock for the start of a new site. Geez, I`m really going to miss doing business with Bob! The best of luck to them both!

Theres still some on Excel Detail (BTW they just reworked the company, not going out of business)

DWG is there but at regular price. Considering its one of the best and will be gone REALLY soon, people ARE going to pick it up fast.

I guess that`s a little unclear. I can`t help but think that both of these guys have been affected by the economy, and also by AG`s relentless pursuit of every product line of interest to Autopians.

I didn`t give him much business, as I don`t have much business to give; but I sure hate to see Bob forced to close up show. I especially hate to see DWG disappear from the market. It`s a hard time out there for small vendors.
