What does FTF mean? Does it also include the backing plate?

Is that an extra long spindle, or is that standard equipment now?

Still available guys, FTF means face to face anywhere in Los Angeles as in we meet for the transaction.

That what you see instead of the backing plate is an EDGE 2k adapter which eliminates the need to align your pads and it is a perfect fit with the pads all the time, every time.

Yes it includes the backing plate, the edge 2k will come with all the pads you see there for an extra $20.

    FTF-$100

    Shipped $120

Sorry to be off-topic but is the Hitachi exactly the makita 9227c? The construction, design, and speed modes look identical. If this isnt pickup in a month, I will gladly take it. (just saving for more polishes)

I have no idea if they are identical, all I know is this is one of the most highest rated rotary`s in the detailing industry and people in Autopia gave it very good reviews which is why I picked it up.
