Just ordered my first carpet extractor and I wanted to share because the seller I bought it from was honest and had a great price.

Most websites (autogeek, proper auto care etc) the going price for a mytee lite II is around 800+ mostly I see them in the 895+ (but to be fair some sellers are offering the Turbo model, so the price naturally would be a little higher)

I found an authorized seller on ebay selling buy it now $660 + 49 shipping. That is $710 out the door!

Cheesy announcer voice: "But wait there`s more!"

I also used the Microsoft "live search cash back" thing and it took an additional 14% off. This worked out to be $94 (If anyone requests, I`ll show you how to do it -it`s free and it actually works)

One last thing, I sent an email to the seller and I kindly asked him to match his competitor`s offer (another ebay seller has Mytee Lite II plus a free crevice tool)

and he did -which would have set me back another $79

I am in no way affiliated with this guy but when I had a question he immediately called and went the extra mile which I think we can all appreciate!

here is a link to one of his auctions:

So you got an 8070 with a crevice tool to the door for $615 (after your cash back)?

    $709-$94 (live search cb) = $615

Search something on Live Search and they are giving cash back through PayPal.

Look at the link at the top for eBay. mytee 8070 - Live Search

MS live cashback is awesome -The cash back comes from microsoft not the ebay seller or paypal.

All you have to do is create a microsoft email address ie "blahblah@live.com "

which takes about 5 minutes and then you can link it to your ebay and paypal account.

My pending cashback is $93.40 for the Mytee lite -the money won`t go into your account for several weeks (up to 8) to prevent people from returning the items (think about the fraud possibilities ) However, my sister used it the other day and apparently the refund was faster than advertised.

You can use cash back on ANYTHING with a "Buy it Now"

By the way the cashback thing varies everyday- When i bought it a few days ago, it was 14% today it is at 13% ----sometimes it goes up to 25% !! but I had to have the mytee lite this week so I couldn`t afford to wait around till it hit 25% ---

Again my props is for the seller too -customer service can be SCARY on ebay especially on big ticket items and this guy was exceptional. Shipped the SAME DAY called me to answer questions etc etc.

Thanks for letting me know about this ebay seller. I too just ordered myself a mytee lite 2 from the same seller and this seller is extremely nice! Not only did he include the crevice tool but he also went on and shipped it out the same day even though their fedex guy had already came. Unfortunately live cash back was only at 9%... still $60 back in my pocket i guess! cant complain. I was doing some heavy research on where to find the best deal on this machine. He also sells the new black model which looks AMAZING!

It used to change by the hour, at more popular times it would go down, at less popular times it would go up. Great news for night owls.

You also might want to look up something called ebates to get a little more money back. I tried stacking it up ontop of my live cash back but I dont think I did it right...

Yeah - I learned the hard way, I tried another seller before on a mytee big ticket item: I paid, the same day I won the auction - a week goes by and no email OR item. Finally, I email to get a tracking number to see where it was (I know fed ex can take their time...) -Found out it they had it on back order and had to wait 2 more weeks. And when I did get it, it wasn`t even complete. uggggg

Thanks for the link, I`ve been researching them for a while now. Think Im going with the Lite instead of the Aztec.

How long did it take to get to you? You used it yet?
