    I have

    10 - brand new unused large (7" - 8")Sea Sponges for sale.

these are the very best things to use when washing your pride and joy

better than sheeps skin (wool) mitt or MF mitts (because they don`t hold the dirt on the surface)

these are hand picked for softness ( very soft)

the more they are used the softer they become --->if that makes sense

these sponges retail for $17- $20 each

I`m looking for $8 each and that includes free shipping so my loss your gain

I do have a PP acct and can Ship

same or next day. just PM me or post up how many you would like

    thanks,

    Larry V.

PM sent. I`ll take one if you have any left.

Did you find there was a lot of hidden sand buried in them that has to be rinsed out?

Eliot, I have 5 sponges. They all had sand in them. Just rinse well and let soak over night. Then rinse again. Look at them underwater and you may see some shells you have to pick out too.

But when clean, they`re like silk when wet. Very unique and a pleasure to wash with especially with the foam gun spraying on the surface as you swipe with the sponge.

The best ones come from the Florida Keys.

Thanks Seth, if I get one I`ll follow your advice. I remember reading where they had sand in them and needed to be rinsed out, but now that you mention the small shells I recall reading about that possibility too.

I brought one from TOL earlier this summer and don`t know why I didn`t make the move sooner.

I cleaned mine similar to as described but I think TOL cleans them before shipping cause I let it soak for two days (squeezing the water through every now and then and agitating it in the bucket) but I got no sand or sheels out.

They are a dream to wash with

After washing them by hand throw them in the washing machine, it really helps with the sand.

want to give kudos to icu812 received my 2 sponges to day and they are sweet. rinsed them out and very little sand so far. checked for shells and have not seen any. will leave them sit in a pail of clean water overnight. can not believe how much they swell in size when you put them in water. feel very , very soft when wet :xyxthumbs thanks for the hookup
