I live close to Raleigh, but I`d be willing to go down to Greensboro for an all dayer or two Just let me know when a car comes up and if I`m off work, I can help.
Thanks for the advice, JFSM. I`ll start looking for reputable details nearby.

Aww...I`m sure people from SC are nice, too, michakaveli. As for becoming competition, I`d be happy to be an employee if the pay was good....but that`s some where further down the road.

Maybe later this summer or fall we can work out a NC "detail fest" one Saturday, in a centrally located area. I can definitely come up with a test car, and will look for a location (maybe around Greensboro or Durham).
There are several good detailers between Charlotte and Raleigh, and a hack (michakaveli) in SC, that isn`t too bad. I am sure everyone could share some tips and techniques, and everyone could learn a lot in a very short time.

Sweet! Great idea, David. Love it! We can make it a big-ish event. It might not be like Todd`s Buff Fests, but it`d be fun. Demonstrations and chances for hands on learning. How big of a venue do you think we would need?

Can I be a helper too?

I`m In.
I might have an idea for a location here in Raleigh area. I`ll see if the space would be available.
Cars & Coffee again this Saturday in Brier Creek. Also show at Cary Auto Mall. I`ll be hitting both up.
Would be interesting to have a meet, although I bet I`ll be busy as usual. C&C Should be good, always fun seeing the nice cars come out heading to Brier Creek.
You don`t need to be an intern to learn, best way is to practice & practice. Read alot and understand why some Detailers use certain techniques/products.
Lol, you can, but I`m sure you already know what you`re doing.
I think we`ve started something > Maybe we could aim for August or September and make it a Carolina Detail Fest (or something like that)
Blankety blank blank! I gotta be at work at 9am Saturday, but most other days this week they have me closing....grrr....When is the show at the Auto Mall?Originally Posted by dwgcmc
