Does Anyone in NC Need an Assistant?

I live close to Raleigh, but I`d be willing to go down to Greensboro for an all dayer or two

Just let me know when a car comes up and if I`m off work, I can help.

You know, I guess we are lucky here in NC. Most of the detailers on the forums from this state will bend over backwards to help each other out....at least over here in this part of the state (Charlotte - Greensboro area)

Agreed. I guess some of those guys from SC are ok too. None come to mind though....:devil:

Aww...I`m sure people from SC are nice, too, michakaveli. As for becoming competition, I`d be happy to be an employee if the pay was good....but that`s some where further down the road.

Maybe later this summer or fall we can work out a NC "detail fest" one Saturday, in a centrally located area. I can definitely come up with a test car, and will look for a location (maybe around Greensboro or Durham).

There are several good detailers between Charlotte and Raleigh, and a hack (michakaveli) in SC, that isn`t too bad.:clap: I am sure everyone could share some tips and techniques, and everyone could learn a lot in a very short time.

Great idea, David. Love it! We can make it a big-ish event. It might not be like Todd`s Buff Fests, but it`d be fun. Demonstrations and chances for hands on learning. How big of a venue do you think we would need?

Cars & Coffee again this Saturday in Brier Creek. Also show at Cary Auto Mall. I`ll be hitting both up.

Would be interesting to have a meet, although I bet I`ll be busy as usual. C&C Should be good, always fun seeing the nice cars come out heading to Brier Creek.

You don`t need to be an intern to learn, best way is to practice & practice. Read alot and understand why some Detailers use certain techniques/products.

Blankety blank blank! I gotta be at work at 9am Saturday, but most other days this week they have me closing....grrr....When is the show at the Auto Mall?

I don`t know exactly. If I remember from last year it was from about 8 or 9 and went most of the day. I took off around 2. The heat might chase alot of people out early.
