Need an opinion. Can microfiber clothes be reused if they hit the ground? I was planning on washing before reuse. Do these trap grit in them? I hate to throw out a new towel!:

The CD test never fails. Give it a shot but do it on a cheap blank CD.

Really depends on what the ground was like. If wood chips or something Give it to the dog for a chew toy.
You could try to clean it. Shake the snot out of it. Look at it with magnifying glass and get some tweezers and pluck out what you see. Rinse it in water several times. Wash it several times.
If you do not truct it then mark this MF for tires or even fender wells only or some other area that does not scratch easily.
Good Luck!
Do a quick search so you can get the all the info on it but simply you rub the towel on a CD-r Preferable one you do not wanna use anymore. And you see if scratches. Some rub a bunch of time with different pressures.
It tells you the relative harshness of different towels with respect to one another. It is not a perfect test but pretty good.
Check it out.
Thanks Bud, you are a wealth of information and I appreciate it!:xyxthumbs
When that happens I won`t use it on a painted surface. I use it to wipe my tires or engine compartment.

I love to use those free AOL cd`s for that test...... I get them with my computer mags, and sometimes when Im at office max I grab 2 or 3 from their `take one free` bin..... just incase I get clumbsy... :xyxthumbs
Also that 2.0 is not a cleaner wax--just a pure wax--thats what tech line said anyway--anyone have issues with the info they get from the call center? i thought their sealant 20 or 21 would last longer than the syn wax (NXT2.0)
I read that the new Ultimate Wax is now the longest lasting.
2011 Ford Mustang GT California Special
2007 Ford Explorer XLT Fire Red
NXT 2.0 is a synthetic sealant. #20 is categorized as a cleaner wax, but it`s protective properties are synthetic. Who did you talk to on the tech line?

I`m just getting back onto this site since the spring is coming up and this will be my first chime-in. I used Meg`s NXT on my wife`s Accord, it went down easy but I just didn`t see it in the final result. I haven`t tried Ultimate Wax and I moved away from cleaner waxes long ago.
