I have some questions and need some advice on scratch removal. Which forum is best for this kind of inquiry? Thanks.

How about its own forum, air brushes-fillers-techniques this subject is massive in and of itself.
Then of course there is always the evil twin-chips.

The paint polishing section is going to be your best bet.

Like Todd mentioned, the Machine Polishing forum is probably your best bet and is most likely focused on paint correction techniques.

Your not trying to correct scratches by hand are you? That`s not to say you can`t but it`s extremely time and material intensive.

Depending on what you`re trying to do yes, to a certain extent. The PC isn`t as effective as a rotary but will correct minor defects effectively. I also use my PC for my LSP application.

By the way, is you`re screen name related to what you drive? I have a black 335 coupe.

    scratch removal

Yes, 2005 330ci convertible. Jet black. I have a few typical surface scratches in the right front fender. I also have some chips along the front of the same fender. Again, typical stuff, but on black, they are visible and driving me nuts. Rest of car is mint.
