Formerly the "Best Detailer", now just Super Wax Waster Man. Not necessarily tactful, but normally right. It`s good to be da King !!!
that tail of the dragon seems to be the place to go in the south east for a true driving/riding adventure. (if you can avoid the unskilled)
Did tail of the dragon and colorado 82. Awesome drives.
Looks like I have some driving to do when I get another car. This is the one I used to do with my old Rx-7 club.

So when are you getting another FD
I just sold mine ... I will have another in another in a couple of years.
Thanks for sharing! Some of them I did not know about.
Cool article. The problem with "The Tail" is that Semi Trucks sometimes use it and CANNOT navigate the turns, often ending up in oncoming traffic, blindly. The roads around "The Tail" are much better, less traveled and more challenging.

^ dont` mind the Harley that cannot turn (more than enough room), the lack of proper riding gear (orange sleeveless shirts won`t protectant you) and a lack of ability to brake from 40 mph in 5 seconds (most Harley`s do not have good brakes and most owners are terrible at using them). The point is these Semi Trucks have no business being on a road that forces them to blindly change lanes.
One of my buddies mentioned that trucks are no longer allowed on the dragon
I never really considered HWY 1 as a terrifying road but it made the list somehow. Never been to the tail of the dragon but out here we have an area of HWY 49 known as the little dragon.
