I watched this in the past.
It has me wondering if any DETAILERS have gotten their hands on one to see if the finish is as good as they claim.
Very cool video. 150 microns of clear! If only every car had that much clear.
I watched this a few months back and stupidly posted it on the geeky forum rather than here
I do like how they realize the market that they`re in. While many buy hyper-cars for the performance (95% of owners will never find the limit, even on the track), most (probably over 95%) still want their cars to look good, and free of orange peel.
Personally, I think every car manufacturer that hand-builds a car has no excuse not to throw a bunch of clear onto a car and do a proper sand, cut and buff at the OEM paint facility. Or, if not, make sure the clear is heavy that way enthusiasts can polish their pride and joy or pay someone to get it to perfection.
Yes, I think the claims made in the video need to be verified. Who is going to bite-the-bullet and buy one? Not it
Happy detailing!
I love koenigsegg, but read this...

Honestly, seeing their quality up close in person, they`re more like mosler than mclaren. I still love the CCX though.
i`d love to see a paint job like that in person. must look like liquid glass if done right.
100 microns of clear! No need to wax or polish, haha.
