I used to detail his Mercedes 450 back in the 80`s when he had an office and home in Palm Beach. Amazingly humble man a true hero of mine.

390 HP car, certainly some draw for it being Mr. Armstrong`s car for a short period of time. It would cost close to what it`s worth to restore, for being stored inside, it`s pretty rough.
The moon landing was July 1969, and this car was delivered in Dec 1966, so Mr Armstrong had already turned this car in about 1.5 years before the moon landing.

values the car at about $37k (or maybe as much as 54k if you`re generous with condition) so the rest is all due to the celebrity value. Currently at 250k and reserve not met.
