Thank you for the comments. I`ll try and post some of the initial inspection photos. We`ll see where the project heads. The new owner likes the "patina" so I`ll work from there to decide where to proceed. I like Pre-war vehicles because of their lines. The Morgans are the only thing that still kept them after. Maybe that`s why I still have a soft spot for a Morgan.

I am very grateful for this opportunity. I was given it once before with the only Vauxhal boattail speedster in the US (1 of 3) I hope there is enough room for improvement. To me it is not bragging rights but trust that makes these opportunities possible. There are many others capable and I am truly thankful to be chosen.

I was notified of one new one today.
A 1933 Alfa Romeo 6c 1750 Grand Sport Drop Head Coupe(supercharged) is next.
Beautiful car 1 of 44 and survived the war. I`m excited, I`ve only done 3 war cars that survived including a Hitler staff car. Pics to come.
Now that is want I be waiting to see lately. Keep us posted!

In the description this vehicle actually suffered being damaged to a direct shot during the war. I`m a history buff and just knowing this it will be a great experience.

So what do you think this detail would consist of knowing that the owner likes the "patina" on the vehicle? Sorry if I`m jumping the gun.

It`s going to depend on what surface is addressed. I myself like the patina of worn but not dirty. Paint can be brought up to par without affecting much. It will be assessed as a whole to not pull away to far from used but well cared for. It has been restored so I`m interested to see the quality of the restoration first.

I received a call when it was purchased. Once delivery is taken I will take a good look. We`ll then determine priorities.

The weather and other projects will dictate when work will begin. This crazy Midwest winter gets to be a pain to work around for pick up and delivery. It`s killed me at times having to hold vehicles that are done when I need the space.
    Come on Spring!

I need to and have many things to post. Last time I tried uploading to photobucket it was 8 min. Per picture. Having our service provider look into this.
