Face of the new Frontier looks oddly like a Tacoma.....it is, however, about time they updated it
It really is amazing how long the truck was built without doing any significant changes.
Two or three years ago I got one as a rental car on a business trip (funniest "midsize car" I`ve ever seen!). The interior design and materials didn`t look like they were ever updated and by the looks of them were probably out of date when the truck was unveiled originally. It felt like I`d gone through a wormhole back to high school in the `80`s and landed in my friends Nissan Pulsar. it was a really odd experience.

Thanks for that great video link, Dave !
Really liked the front end of the new Pathfinder..
The Frontier looks great and has a nice 310hp motor...
I never see any Frontiers on the road, but then I live in farming country, so Ford, Chevrolet and Toyota are the big boys..

Nissan Frontier forums are calling the new Frontier the Nissan Tacoma.

Nah the rear look more like an F-150 rear.
Looks like a tacoma and an F-150 made a baby.
An article I read last week pointed to this exact reason why Nissan didn`t bother with any significant changes. They were consistently selling well and there was no compelling reason to make chages.
Overall, my experience with the truck was good. I might have chuckled at the vintage gage cluster and interior design, but it was comfortable and rode/drove nicely with decent gas mileage. My only beef with it as a rental car was the fact it was a regular cab and my suitcase had to go in the bed where it go in the back were it was covered in snow while driving to/from the airport and hotel. If I was in the market for a truck it would have been a viable alternative to the Tacoma.

Some people like a basic truck (me). I would take hand crank windows over automatic anyway.
It was one of the few manual tranny trucks left in production, looks like they not making manual.
