    Weather Tech ot Husky Mats

My wife just purchase a 2019 Chevy Equinox and I was looking at Weather Tech for $290 for front, second row, and rear cargo area. The Husky brand is $240 for the same config. Any suggestions or recommendations of another brand to look at?

Honestly you can`t go wrong with either. We went with Weathertech`s in the Tacoma and Camry and have worked out well. There was a set of Husky`s in a couple work trucks at my old employer and they felt about the same and held up well.

Re: Weather Tech ot Husky Mats

I really like the Huskys I got for my Tacoma, they have a rubber feel and are very heavy duty. I picked up some for our work van (Transit Connect) and they are not at all similar. When I pull the Tacoma mats out to clean they lay flat on the pavement. The Transit ones are thin and harder plastic and retain the curve that is designed into them to shape to the way the floor boards are. They still do the job, they just feel cheaper as if a knock off of the way the Tacoma ones are designed.

So it may vary from vehicle to vehicle which one to go with. If your car has a decent forum (Tacomas sure do) it may be worth asking for feedback there as it seems not all are created equal.

Exactly. IME it depends on the application; I`ve had one or the other prove superior in different vehicles.

Both are high quality, but the little details, and the fit, can vary more significantly that one might think.

I third that, depends on the car. Check out forums dedicated to your car and see how they fit. One thing I really like about weathertech is that obnoxious sticker comes off easily. My Huskies never had bold writing on them.

Re: Weather Tech ot Husky Mats

I got a set of Husky`s before last winter because I just couldn`t do the $200 or whatever it was with the shipping for the Weathertech. I`ve never had mats like this before (I usually do the factory all-season) so I can`t compare, but the Husky are fine, the spiking on the back was pretty aggressive which made them a bit difficult to put in, and I`m trying not to think about whether the carpet is going to look like my perforated seats when I take them out.

I`ve never had Husky liners, but all of the vehicles in my house have Weathertech floor liners, and I really like them.
