Don`t people RTFM? Well, they *are* awfully lengthy these days...
Heh heh, in the Crown Vic the little LED (converted to green from the oe orange) tells me "OK, you can drive it now, the Traction Control has been disabled" In the `93 Audi, the Coolant Temperature Waring icon tells me that the sensor is acting up again..."ignore it, it`ll fix itself in five four three.." (its Coolant Temp gauge must use a different sensor/circuit as it reads accurately).

Surprising how many drivers ignore them. Light = $$. And how many never read the owners manual.

My Farther in-Law liked using this (see Below) to fix the airbag light in his Lexus`s.

As soon as I see a warning light I am not familiar with, I pull out the manual. Not playing around with my transportation.

I have a few lights in my car but they`re not a big deal...some random glitch in the wheel sensor... you have to turn the car on,, clock the wheel left, right left right, center, turn off and turn back on... literally goes away every time... but then when I make a hard turn it comes back on along with the little peeling out dude which is one of my favorite ones..traction is a pipe dream on most roads in my car anyways and I have 305s on each wheel in the rear

Which is why I love my 89, doesn`t have most of that ```` to set a light off, you actually have to pay attention to the sights, sounds, and smells AND DO SOME LOOKING AT FLUIDS every once and a while. Is that so hard?

My g6 says my rear passenger tire is low but it`s not I just haven`t spent the money to replace the tpms sensor in that tire

I wish my dash board would tell me what`s going on, I have an incredibly random misfire and hesitation with throttle application. The hesitation is so slight and the misfire so random that it isn`t triggering codes. It could be anything from an old fuel filter to a worn out MAF Sensor. Already have replaced plugs, wires, coils, throttle body gasket, in past maintenance.
I`ve owned Toyotas for the last 9 years. None of them purchased with less than 50,000 miles used. I have only seen oil change reminders and tire pressure warnings.
I only recall having had two separate check engine lights come on in my 2006 Avalon. Two coils went bad. OBD2 told me which cylinders, both were in the front bank. Easiest fix ever. Remove engine cover, unbolt coils and replace. I literally think I could have replaced each coil in under one minute if I had to.
My 98 Trans Am with 8,400 miles has a "TCS Off" light on. It is sending no information to the Snap On diagnostic tool? Oh well
