    Here kitty kitty?

they only made the metallic tri coat black in 2015

been looking for one with very low miles the better part of this year

the only thing is I think I may regret a 6 speed manual after the new car honeymoon phase wears off since I kind of would want to drag race it and the 8 speed autos are much faster down the drag strip (about 1.0 seconds controlling for the average joe)

then the other part of me says...707 horsepower and slamming some gears seems something my life has been missing..I had a 6speed trans am for 8 years and about 90% of the time I`m driving my car I miss having a manual

I detailed a 6speed hellcat last summer and the clutch was quite heavy and of course dodge has the hand brake on the floor, not the center console...so that would definitely take some getting used to

can you tell I`m trying to talk myself out of this already

    the price is right
it has 3k miles and the fancy leather that they stopped putting in the cars

I bet she kicks like a mule into 2nd and 3rd Here kitty kitty?

I think that much power and a manual is a recipie for expensive maintenance. I think they learned that and that`s why you don`t see many manual hell cats or turbo porsches. The human error, need to go a little further into the red to get that nose out in front and the. There`s miss judgment that gets us every time.

Buy a used 944 manual and have some fun and keep the autos in high HP track monsters.

    Re: Here kitty kitty?

All depends on the clutch/trans combo. If the clutch is a little stiff it won`t be fun to drive in traffic, as you already know. Too light and you feel disconnected. There is a fun factor though.

Right now I have a hate/hate relationship with my GTI`s 6 speed manual combo. Clutch is too light and too weak for the power. Was hard to get a decent pass down the track. I love rowing gears, but I`m getting to the point I`m fixing to drop 2K in a new clutch combo...

Get it and donate you current one to me. Lol but seriously I miss my manual, main reason I got rid of it was cause wife couldn`t drive it.

512detail- If you REALLY want it, and the price is *really* right (FOR YOU, here and now IRL), then IMO you oughta buy it while the stars are aligning that way. Thirty years from now I bet you`ll either a) regret passing on it or fondly recall the purchase, so go for the latter. This could be one of those Wayback Machine Moments that you don`t want to [screw] up.

(Deliberately leaving every single personal opinion I have of that car off the table as it`s not *me* considering it )

Result of my having *not* put way too much thought into many of my choices about such stuff..and I suspect we`re talking real money here.

Brent - go get it and put a huge smile on your face! You can always sell it after a year or two.
