Blast from the past. On local dealer lot. I had a 87 6cyl. Had a lot of fun with that car.

wow wish i had the money
Drove my uncle`s a few times back in the day not a bad car. I wish Chevy or Ford was daring enough to try a reasonably priced mid engine car again, could be a great sports car.
I love time-capsule cars from that era.. but IMO that 4cylinder, auto, pre-suspension update Fiero wouldn`t be all that fun to actually drive. Cool little "set it in the corner as decoration" car though. But I`ll be astounded if they get that kind of money for it.

The Toyota MR2 was the king in that class. It handled like a go cart. A friend had one in highschool.
Tons of fun. I don`t think that Tiny car would pass today`s safety requirement. The doors and hood felt like tin

That dealer has it priced like a GT with a stick. 6000 is about top end for that car. It was completely unremarkable
The Fiero, like many American cars of its time, looked much better than it ran in terms of acceleration and handling.
I worked in service and then sold Dodge cars back then, and we had people cross shop the Colt Turbo for less $ and buy is regularly. The colt was made by Mitsubishi back then and the Japanese were the first to discover that a light car, with HP, that could handle at a low price touched the Americans fun button.

Yes. The 88 was the last and best year.

My buddy had one. Had speakers built into the headrests which I though was so cool....
I remember touring the plant in Pontiac when I was a kid. I always liked those cars.
Most of the plant is gone now....
