Arrow Rear ABS wheel speed sensor.

OUCH. There go`s my overtime $. Bad one was found yesterday. Over there now getting a new one in. Had a 15% off any service and $25 credit put towards it. Of course the front ones are a 1/4 of the cost vs. the rear ones. Cant complain I guess. First repair in 4-years 49,000 miles. It did not fall under the powertrain warranty.

Re: Rear ABS wheel speed sensor.

Do you take on any maintenance/repairs yourself or take everything to a mechanic?
I currently own all Ford vehicles that I can scan every system with using my Obdlink MX w/ Android phone. One app I have does list Nissan.
You can scan any obd2 compliant vehicle but to get into more than engine/emission stuff you have to find software if it`s available.
I did a rear wheel speed sensor on my Grand Marquis. Bought the sensor from rock auto for peanuts. (Open box .. looked like it was on the floor being kicked around for ten years but the contents inside were perfect)

Re: Rear ABS wheel speed sensor.

I do the easy stuff. This required the consult just to find which sensor was bad. The fronts for the xterra are not bad. The rear`s are not cheap. I did research the parts.

    $206.79 from rockauto.
