Ford Escape easter egg.

Her 12 Ford Escape did not come with a owners manual. So when something is in question, i get the on-line manual. I was looking at it over the weekend, and found a really good feature. In the back cargo area, behind a panel, is a removable small white funnel! It`s there in case you ever run out of gas. Then you have a easy way to pour from the can to the tank. Bet over half of 12 and down Escape owners don`t even know it`s there!

My Transit Connect has the same thing. I suspect it`s because the vehicle doesn`t have a gas cap and the door that closes the pipe seals tight enough that the EVAP system won`t leak air (which trips a CEL) and subsequently gas can`t get down the tube without it.
