    Wiper blade time...AGAIN

Seems like the xterra eats blades, but after checking my records it has been a year. 6-12 months is what you can expect out of blade. HAVE YOU PRICED THE BETTER BLADES LATLEY? You need some serious bank for them! This time around i went with trico onyx. And of course did the rear (standard trico) too. Got them at advanced auto. $10 off 2.

Imo they use cheap rubber, maybe it`s me but I can remember when they would last at least a year.

Just did this. Bosch Icon`s went two full winters on the wife`s Town Car. Liked them well enough to buy them again.

I just get the factory refills from the dealership and they always fit perfectly, work great, last over a year, and are pretty inexpensive..

    Another vote for Busch.

Had nothing but grayness from them. No matter what is on the windshield they never chatter.

Really was not that impressed with the onyx and that price. Got a refund and put on trico factory exact fit blades. $15.25. With $37 back in my pocket.

Same here!!! Never found a 3rd party blade that fit as well and lasted as well as the VW blades and the price at the dealer isn`t any more expensive than good 3rd party blades.

    Re: Wiper blade time...AGAIN

I`ve used the Bosch and had extremely good results with them lasting easily more than a year. I just replaced mine and my wife`s wiper blades with the Trico Onyx a couple months ago and have been happy with their performance; durability is the big question. I think the Trico blades stay on the windshield better at highway speeds, but that could be because of the larger airfoil that the Trico blades have.

    Re: Wiper blade time...AGAIN

ive only bought one set of wiper blades since 2008 on my challenger
the daily driver, those blades barely last a year but I don`t use the wipers much thanks to the coating on the windshield

    I`m cheap..
Bosch Evolutions are a bargain at Rock auto
I`m due for blades now. They are two to three years old.
