2015 Last year for the nissan xterra.

    Nissan Xterra Discontinued in U.S. | Edmunds.com

As a owner, i can truthfully say, I love my 2012. Just a great all around vehicle. One of last true body on frame 4x4 vehicles. All the suv and cuv vehicles today look like eggs on wheels.

I agree. It`s a nice looking functional truck. I wish they did not scrap the name plate but rather updated the truck. All it needs is a better crash test and I would consider it seriously.

Another market segment seems to be disappearing. I liked the Dakota but I am sure the RAM costs about the same but can charge a lot more.

I`m pissed that the Durango is being discontinued, I love my fully loaded 13 Durango RT! Love the muscular looks and the Hemi, no other SUV looks like it. IMO best vehicle I ever owned.

When the time comes, I`ll have to replace it with this.

Re: 2015 Last year for the nissan xterra.

Nissan has redesigned the Titan and from what I have read, I think it will be a serious truck. They need to do the same to the Frontier too now that the new Tacoma is coming in a few months. I like having several good choices instead of only 2.
It is a shame that this segment is reduced to the Jeep Wrangled. Not that I hate Jeeps, it`s just that with no competition, they have no incentive to update.
All I have in this world is my word, and my balls and I don`t break `em for no one, you understand?"
