    Exclamation Wiper blade destruction.

DO NOT DO WHAT I DID LAST NIGHT! I thought the wipers were OFF. Started the x up and there was ice/snow and bitter temps. Wipers were left on. They made a pass and i tried to shut them off in time. Ripped the leading edge of one of the wiper blades clean off! Needless to say i had them replaced this morning with trico beam wipers. NOT CHEAP!! LESSON LEARNED.

Could have been worse. Broken arm (s) or scratched windshield....

Just gave a lesson to my daughter this morning on lightly tapping the wipers loose with a scraper, since it`s her first winter with her own car. I already equipped it with the Trico Beam wipers and I`m hoping to only buy them once this year.

Thank god it did not. The one that ripped had plenty of rubber left on it. It just ripped the leading edge clean off in one long piece.

The trico`s do look nice. I had the michelan beam blades on prior. Great wiper.

If I ever have to park outdoors in winter, I leave the wipers set away from windshield.

Trico NeoForm has never let me down.
