One of my co- workers approached me to day and told me how he and his three year old daughter washed his Sante Fe last night, while he was washing the "other side" he snuck around to "BOO!!" his daughter and finds her washing the driveway and his black paint too with the same sponge She looks up and smiles and says "look daddy I am washing the driveway too"

It`ll buff out....the driveway that is. I`m pretty sure the paint is screwed.

Re: the three year old detailer...

I had a customer call me with a problem "similar" to this. It was over the winter and his children who are around the 3-4 yr old range had just learned in school that ice was just another form of water....
My customer had just got a brand new powder blue Jaguar in September, so the car was only a few months old and he had washed it right before the winter and his kids helped him spray it down with water.
So, putting two and two together, his kids thought that they could wash his car with ice and proceeded to pick up chunks of salt and gravel encrusted ice and throw them on the hood and roof of the car, and drag them from the front to the back to get the dirt off.
He sent me pictures of the damage, and it was obvious that some of the scratches where right through the paint.....
    OUCH...
