A guy I know waits for the rain to wipe his dirty car with a towel,I told him on a few occasions that he`s going to rub all that dirt in to the paint but he thinks I`m too fussy.
Haha that is pretty comical, made me laugh!
That reminds me. A few weeks back I was helping my buddy polish his car and one of his neighbors was over observing us.
At one point we dropped a MF towel we were using and I said "oop chuck that one out".. meaning toss it into the dirty pile.
The neighbor goes "WHAT? You dropped those and throw them out???" thinking we had more money than sense.
ooh boy.
My father in law used steel wool to get the fly shi.... of his car. He showed me how he got every nook and cranny with the steel wool. Thank god its white.
I have to start neighbor watching I want funny stories lol. These are some crazy stories.
I was driving by my grandmothers and a neighbor down the street was washing his C5 Vette. He looked like he had a good mitt, prolly dish soap (which is okay i guess?), but didn`t see a second bucket...

Not seeing a second (or third or fourth rinse bucket) is not at all uncommon. It would actually perk my interest if I ever saw anyone using more than one bucket during a wash.
I still don`t believe in grit guards.
About a month ago I watched my neighbor pour half a gallon of pb slick and suds in to a bucket then filled the rest with water to wash his moms corolla. After he started I went and showed him the correct amount
Never seen the windex done before but I think the worst one I have seen was when someone sprayed there whole truck down with engine degreaser and washed it that way.
I have seen my step father use a SOS pad on his black truck to get tar off... Yeah not a good idea
Ha, yea. Nothing gets bugs off like a scotch brite pad

My dad has a white Trans-Am and his philosophy is why wash it it`s just gonna get dirty again, But then again he told me two days ago that he has`nt changed his oil in three years!!
