I ran out of my 5th bottle of DACP and I want to try something else. Even though I`m pretty dedicated to Meguiars I`m not a diehard so much that I will not use anything else. What does everyone here like?? I`m well aware everyone likes different polishes but seeing polishing is the beauty of paint I`m expecting alot of voters. Pick your flavor and thanks,,,,,AR

I use the 3M PI-III MG and now the 3M PI-3000 SMR. But since they`re not included in the choices, I vote for the Menzerna line.

I voted for SSR2, but SSR2.5 would probably be a closer alternative to DACP. I love how the SSRs work so well in the bright sunlight. It`s really easy to tell if you need to go over the area again, since you will see any swirls right after you buff off the product.

That was my problem with SSR 2.5. I just KEPT seeing the swirls:soscared: Then I switched to 3M Perfect it III MG and Meg`s # 80. Combined, Awesome results:xyxthumbs

SSR2.5 is definately a closer alternative to DACP than SSR2.

I was using SSR2.5 this weekend and really liked it... really easy to remove even in direct sunlight - I have waxes that are harder to remove than SSR2.5

    Menzerna IP.

I noticed the lowest amount of marring with this higher cut polish. It`s not quite as strong as DACP, but if you work it in correctly, it will produce a more brilliant finish.

Menzerna gives the best finish, imo.

Normally, I`d say IP or SSR2.5 (which isn`t on the list) but recent experience has me favoring Optimum`s polish.
Never argue with an idiot. They drag you down to their level then beat you with experience.

    (1) Menzerna IP

    (2)Menzerna FPll

(3)Menzerna PG ( if the paint is really swirled/badly marred)

UPS just dropped off my Menzerna PO85RD, and I am anxious to try that....

So far these are my pick.:xyxthumbs

Optimum Polish is another fine choice.
