YES it does!!!

I normally hate to vacuum due to the noise, but this was not bad at all!!! All the other "shop/auto vacuums I`ve tried are just too noisy and underpowered

I`ve heard that it does a great job inside the house too, but I haven`t tried that yet. But I think that our 5 cats (3 long-hairs! - eek) will give it a fair trial on the carpeted stairs soon!!

In conclusion, expensive - but worth it!
