which is your preferred go-to polish for moderate defects? Why?

They both seem about the same to me. Last time I used SSR2.5 it seemed to dust faster then DACP. I honestly can`t tell which is better, but if I had to decide I think DACP is slightly stronger but also a bit dustier.
BTW, I always wear a quality filtered dust mask and safety gogs with ANY product that is a dust hog. Really bothers me if I don`t.
Tough choice. Unless you need to use one in the sun, then it`s easy to pick.
I`d go with DACP, simply because I`ve been using it longer and I`m more used to it.
I like SSR 2.5 because I can use it it the sun. I use #83 only in the spring/fall or if I have some shelter.
Both work well on cool surfaces, though.

My go-to polish is 3M PI III RC and MG, and if I`m not using that, it`s 1Z UPP, 1Z PP, and 1Z MP.
SSR 2.5! I found it much easier to work with than #83...
i like both ....definitly ssr2.5 if in the sun...83 in the shade
