Blkz28conv hit it right on the money! Wax your A off, and if the finish is not as clean and mirror looking, you will not get that look.

Remember, wax is only oil with carnuba in it. Well the majority are as this is what gives the look of wetness. Look at it this way, if you have black hair and add Vaseline, it now looks glossy and wet. Same principal with waxes. It sits on the finish along with the carnuba to help keep it that way for as long as possible.

Now, if you polish, and polish and polish to get that mirror look w/o wax, you`re there. All polish contain some oils as well to lube the abrasives in it. Some have more and there are different types of oils/silicones in polishes. #7 makes a car stand out more as it contains a copious amount of oils ( the right kind I might add) to really bring out the gloss. Then you`re ready to wax away! Nothing wrong with #7, and I used it for years on car finishes to get that really wet look on it`s own.

So, you can go S100, Souveran, Blitz, Moose, Poorboys, it`s all subjective and one may outlast the other, but will not do squat if your finish is not done.

Sure you can wax over whatever to gain protection, but wax is just that, protection, not much on gloss really. Go to a junkyard and wax a beater and it may bring a bit of it up, but no drop-dead shine. That`s your effort in polishing!

Pick a wax, if your happy with it, great.

Obviously (look at the results) a bunch of us do NOT think that s100 is the same as p21s.

Let`s do a poll on that... I`ll post one.

where can I find s100 in Canada? I`ve searched high and low,but I can`t find any. Especially here in Toronto? Any fellow canadians wanna help me out? I`m interested to see what s100 or p21s has to offer. I`d love to try it out.

    Tried searching?

Try these threads I found by searching for "s100 toronto":

S100 is a breeze to use. It`d be "perfect" if it had some tropical smell or something.
