It`s great to see so many here are happily married to their best friend. Going on 14 years, myself.

Paco- Congrats!

OUCH- If you find the right person you WON`T EVER feel like marriage is a leash or have to worry about feeling controlled or getting a divorce. The problems come from marrying the WRONG person. And IMO, no one can take your dignity, but it`s yours to give away. Sheesh, now I`m the one sounding like some advice column

I`ve been married for 28 years, most of them happy. Knew my wife for six years before marrage. Two great kids. Sure, there have been ups and downs, doesn`t everything have them? You sometimes argue with your best friend. Wouldn`t have it any other way.

Been married to my best friend for 7 years. We dated for 5 years, so no surprises after that length of time. She is my soul mate. Our marriage is truly blessed by God.

I voted for "I don`t know what I want". I was engaged to a great girl who I was with for 3 years then she just dumped me a little over 2 years ago. Since then......I don`t know what I want.

I have another situation, which I am sure is in the minority. I am a widower, was married for seven years. I wll be married again, it was great.

I am using my "free time" to collect all the tools and stuff I need for all my hobbies, including this one. No need to work the $$$ issues!
