just curious... we all know that the most important part of zaino is the prep work.. so what`s the last product you use before appling the zaino? so far i`ve been using the ppcl... though haven`t tried much else.

I clayed before using Zaino since the truck was brand new with no swirlies.
FSPSUPP-C... then followed by a thorough wash to remove any remaining oils.
The prep for the BMW and Audi was done with Finesse It!

Will Zaino bond correctly to AIO? I have been concerned when applying Zaino after prep that i haven`t stripped all of the oils from the paint, will the silicone content in AIO prevent bonding?
I kind of doubt it, because ZFX Z5 bonded to 2 week old Blitz with nothing more than a Z7 wash, but I`m quite a newbie with Zaino.
Puterbum,
ZFX?? What are you, the prodigal son?? Back to Zaino now?
I`ve tried Zaino over AIO with no (apparent) problems. But I can`t be certain as it was only on there for a couple months.
BradB. I am simply amazed that you are able to use Finesse It (by hand I presume?) on a red car and get a marr-free, glossy surface. I`ve tried FI-2 and made a complete mess on my black bimmer. Just goes to show how important technique is.
I will put down a coat of Liquid Glass before Zaino Z2 then Z5 then Z7...That`s a lot of Z`s, sounds like I am snoring!
Just dawn & clay. Surface was preb b4 using M80. Just needed to strip my old wax. Which was Swissol Onyx. Since Zaino can`t bond with this high oil carnauba wax.
