Still having problems with the site?

I keep getting server not found its driving me nuts

For what it`s worth (probably nothing) I have been on the site every night without any delays or unfound server. I can`t hit it during the day because of work "protection".

Yeah, but switching to Linux is a wee bit more involved than switching your DNS servers. For what it`s worth, I have never had the issue at all, but I do use the Open DNS servers.

, but the Open DNS servers are much better than your ISPs and they are FREE. Ok, I`m done. If you want to use slow outdated servers, it`s on you!

I use detailcity.org as my home page and about 70% of the time lately the site can not be found.

I was having trouble yesterday to get on so I did try the openDNS option and it worked fine. It look a few seconds to change it.

That`s great news Bunky! I`m glad it worked for you.

I didn`t want to harp on you, but I was at a friend`s house the other night and his pc wouldn`t log on to DC, so I changed the DNS servers and it loaded right away. Switched back to his ISP`s servers and no joy. Needless to say, he wanted it switched back to the Open DNS servers. It was a great test, because I had never had the issue so I didn`t know if it would resolve it, but I suspected it would.

You should notice a slight improvement on page load times as well.
