Yesterday I could not access this site and I called Embarq tech support.

I explained to him about the problems and he said they must shut down the old site.

I told him that after several days of chaos it had been shut down.

After a couple hours of checking my computer and things at their end and consulting with one of their engineers they said that the problem was at ICANN ( Internet corporation of assigned names & numbers )

He said that the site administrator should notify them so they could change the DNS in their server.

These are not the same as your ISP has these are for the entire Internet.

I sent a E-Mail to ICANN and told them what was going on and ask them to look into it so if the problem has not been permanently fixed yet it should be in a day or two.
