    Re: Problems accessing the site

Now I only have a problem when clicking certain links on the page. For example, new posts is fine, but if I click on forums I get the message about DC being down a few hours for the day.... ???

    Re: Problems accessing the site

I was not able to log in all day same as it has been ever since the server change.

Makes no difference if I add the www or leave it out I get the message that the site will be down for a few hours,

I removed the cookies and all the temp files but that did not help.
I can navigate all other sites but this one so it is not on my end.

Could get in part of the day yesterday, and then nothing at night. Troy, you are gonna have to get this fixed. I have been visiting other detailing sites, and now I have this urge to post confrontational posts and start a site-wide argument.....

I have tried this with both IE and Firefox with no luck whatsoever.
I was able to get on early this morning and was not able to get on again until just now.
Nothing has been changed on my end for a couple of days. All the file, cache. cookie clearing did no good so I quit messing with it.
Sometimes it works, most times it doesn`t.

Same here I tried everything but nothing works, that is because the problem is not at our end it is the sever.
Like you I quite screwing with my computer it works fine all over the Internet this is the only site that will not load.

I now have more hard drive space because I cleaned out everything then spent several hours yesterday putting in user name and pass word at all the different sites that I visit.

This is the first time in two days that it has worked but when I log off it will probably be a few days before it will allow me back on.

    Re: Problems accessing the site

I`ve done everything I can do. I am told the problem is almost definitely a cache issue.

Either from your computer or your ISP.

Those of you who are having trouble. Who is your ISP?

    Re: Problems accessing the site

My ISP is Qwest. Maybe I`m one of the lucky few but I never had a minute`s problem until the server change. I have zero problem going anywhere else but DC is a constant problem now. Nothing has changed on my end but something did on the DC end. That doesn`t mean that the new change isn`t a compatibility issue with what I`m already using but there are too many of us experiencing the problem since the server change. Is the number of members hitting the site down since the change? I think it`s we`ve got to look at the constant and DC is the common denominator. Seriously what do we know to have changed? Common sense tells me that your ISP or server provider/programmer is the issue. I`m sorry, I`m not raggin` on you. I know this is a huge headache.

Same here. Qwest DSL. I`ll try it with the WWW in front of it, but how I get to the site hasn`t changed a bit. I use the Avant browser and it lets me use shortcut urls to navigate. I have it set so when I type `DC` in the browser bar it will take me to http://www.detailcity.org, so it can`t be how I am accessing it. If it weren`t for the message that I see when I try to access it I would think that I was banned. Have you done any IP bans lately that could have affected some people?
