Why is there no date of when something was posted? I would think a posting date would be more important than an expiration date.

Agree with you completely. Unfortunately, it doesn`t seem capable of this. The amount of classifieds plug ins that work with vBulletin 4.0 is a bit limited at the moment. There is a great one made by the same people who did the Gallery plugin. When it is available for vb 4.0, we will be switching to it.
