    We will only have the main sources as vendors(ie. manufacturers or main importers) . This way we can ensure the best pricing.

    From what I see, pricing tends to be fairly stable especially from the producers. If you look around, every seems to have the same basic price with an automatic discount (10%) for products from the major brands then we wait for promotions every once and a while.



    I talked to several makers and their rule is to not destroy their channel (the distributors). They have set floors for prices (but obviously allow special sales) but no one is constantly doing a discount store approach where someone just charges 10% over cost and then trying to make money in volume. The producer does not want to undercut people who sell their stuff because they know they cannot making it up selling direct.
