Ive been a huge soccer fan since I was a kid playing AYSO. I was at awe in todays Italy vs France WC match. Poor sportsmanship also raised its ugly head (no pun intended) from a so called professional, but what sport doesnt have one of those? To have it decided by a 5 shot penaty shootout, to me was dissapointing, but nonetheless, still exciting.

Im kind of curious, what do you find more stimulating, exciting, riveting, interesting etc.........?

The 24 Hours of Le Mans and World Rally Championship are missing from the list! Motorsports seem to be the only `sports` that I can stand to watch and follow.

Zoom, I thought about adding Nextel Cup, but that runs 9 months out of the year! So i opted to stay with something thats normally over in 1-10 days......I love motorsports too!

The World Cup... Just because it occurs once every four years. I found the third place match between Germany and Portugal to be more exciting then the final championship game. Once both France and Italy scored, both teams played not to lose instead of playing to win.

I def choose the World Cup; however, my other favorite international event is the Olympics!

I think the fact that they only come every four years adds to the appeal.

Superbowl without a doubt. It would be interesting to see the location of each voter. I know soccer (football to the rest of the world) enjoys huge popularity around the globe but very little here in the US.

    World Cup > all

Although it can be slow, soccer really can get exciting. I also like the no timeouts, and limited amount of subs. It`s a straight 45 mins per half and whatever stoppage time is left. I also like the World Cup because it represents an entire country which is awesome IMO, and the fact that it only occurs once every 4 years usually allows me to get all hyped up for it.

    Thats just my .02.
