let`s talk about PREVENTING headlight yellowing/fading

I correct mine when they start to yellow again and just use whatever sealant I have to keep them protected.

Personally, I buff out and seal my headlight lenses every time I "wax" the car, so far in my last two cars (106,000 miles and 137,000 miles) I haven`t had ANY oxidation/clouding issues.

The subject is preventing this from happening. If you use Opti Lens you would never have to buff out your lens or seal them again.

Back before the days of Opti-Lens, Opti-Coat was recommended on headlights - thus when I Opti-Coated my car, the headlights got a coat too.

I do this from the time the car is new, so I guess you could call it preventing.
