Yet another driveway wash. High of 40, but I had no problems. I`ll keep on doing it till temps don`t allow. Then only on above freezing days. Truck was dirty!

Turned heat up in the garage and did a rinseless wash and interior cleaning on my truck. I have been slacking badly on it been over a month and it looked horrible.

You`re not slacking, you`re just owning the truck, instead of the truck owning you.

Re: What did you do detailing wise today?

Took all of my products and equipments in from the garage today. The weather switched fast yesterday and went from rain to snow and then freezed on over the night. Seems to be switch to warmer weather again in a couple of days. So maybe I can do 1 more wash at home and outside.

A couple of weeks ago I finally got a place to polishing the Kia cee`d. It was not a full polishing and basicly just the horizontall panels I did. The hood I used the 21mm longthrow polisher with a 5" backing plate and B&S Uro-Fiber 50/50 pads and Sonax Cutmax. Under the Scangrip Sunmatch light it looked great. But tried with a Sonax inspection light that is weaker and saw a minimal micro marring. So a Rupes Yellow Foam Pad and the Polish Angel Esclate Lotion did refined that awesome. Used the Rupes Yellow Foam Pad and the Polish Angel Esclate Lotion only on the roof and it did worked great there too. Saving any more correction to after the winter. LSP is 2 layers of Polish Angel Master Sealant SPR edition which is the Swedish PA version with some added SiO2 and TiO2 in it. Will see how it works when I wash it for the first time. If it`s a little low on the performance I will ad a layer of PA High Gloss.

The line under the halogen lights is also a light. First when I looked at the picture in the phone I thought it where a scratch LOL. Overall happy with the results. The daylight pictures is the day after. The other parts got Gyeon Wet Coat 2019 on them. Have had a very bad weather here in Sweden the last 2 months with very high humidity in between.

A guy brought me 4 heavily corroded and pitted aluminum wheels he bought for cheap for his new pickup. Started with some P&S Brake Buster, then water sanding, 4 steps from 800 grit to 3000. Polishing consisted of Zephyr Brown Rouge Bar on a 8" yellow wheel, Zephyr White Finish Bar on a 8" white wheel, then hand polish with Zephyr Pro-40. Went from nasty, dull grey to a chrome like finish. Customer was ecstatic, I love projects like this, but man it`s hard on the back, and dirty.

Got warm enough today to do a Christmas wash on the ZR2. God they used a lot of salt this year already.

Thanks, I appreciate it. I enjoy polishing aluminum, it is pretty forgiving, if you make a mistake just sand it again, and re-polish.

    Awesome results and work!

How long time does it last until it`s usually time to polishing them again?
Do you clearcoat them sometimes or is the finish too smooth for the paint to bond properly?
