Yeah one of my customers knew someone who worked at the car storage place and they needed a detailer. I still do my own thing on the weekend but I’m way happier with other employees. There are only 4 of us counting the boss so it’s nice and small. I did Bill Gates’ Porsche before we delivered it as well.

Re: What did you do detailing wise today?

Went and washed my work truck even though there is snow and ice and stuff is melting and freezing I wanted to use some of my wetcoat before it goes bad. It`s starting to harden up in the bottle. Anyways the truck has 178k and is far from perfect and loves life in the oil field. Previously I clayed it end of July and put megs UFF on it after. On the the pics. First few are back when the UFF went on. Next few are the wash and results of wetcoat. Used to much but was hard to see staring into the sun as I applied...no worries came out good. Then of course the beading which was easy to get as they froze. Thank enjoy.20180722_203415.jpeg20180722_203424.jpeg20180722_191128.jpeg20181014_171125.jpeg20181014_174958.jpeg20181014_175004.jpeg20181014_180555.jpeg

Has anyone tried P&S DOUBLE BLACK BEAD MAKER? Is a large amount of this product required for the first application?

I`ve watched videos and seems like you don`t need much. Few sprays into the micro and a few spread out on the panel. Spread around and buff off. Use 2nd micro to get streak free. 8hr cure. Can be applied to dry or wet vehicle but dry supposed to net better/longer protection. Seems like a good one but I`ve heard 30-60 days. I`d say 60 is garage queens and 30 would be outside 24/7 DD.

I finally finished this project. On to a really cool 1940 Jaguar soon.

Also got to test out my new iPhone XS camera. Supposedly it can blurr the background by taking a photo with both rear cameras with one focusing on the object and other the background. Pretty crazy!!

Brought a 2018 Diesel Chevy Colorado home a couple days ago. Spent a bit of time polishing out the hard water spots from when this truck has been sitting in the dealer lot. Still a little bit left. Truck only has 120 miles atm.

Managed to get both vehicles washed and dried today. The FK1000P appears to be holding up great.

EzyBrzy the truck looks amazing, just like a mirror. Looking at it, makes me want to get black car. Well done.
