    Re: What did you do detailing wise today?

    Washed my stepfathers work truck and the road salt is on and loosens all kind of road grime. Started with foaming the truck thrue the foamcannon and used Bilt Hamber surfex HD. The lower parts got a tar degreaser. Was thinking to use the ceramic infused schampo Angelwax Enigma but didnt want to mix up the protection that is on. So 2bm wash with carpro reset and warm water to not get my hands to frosen lol. I took the opportunity to ad the protection that is on it. And took the foamcannon bottle and filled it with 600ml~20oz of water and added 20ml~0.7oz of KKD Purity X. Foamed the whole truck and rinsed it with the power wash from bottom to top. The gloss started to show directly and increased over the next few hours. It`s like wet coat and hydro2 but more versitale product as you can dilute it in as a sealant or in a car schampo or a weaker foam dilution to maintance.

    Tomorrow it`s time for the Ford Focus my mom and he got. Then I will use the angelwax Enigma schampo but first test Angelwax Cleanliness which is a foam prewash based on citrus degreaser. Will see if I have to use the tar degreaser but hope that cleanliness will do the job.

    Strange weather we have in the south of Sweden the temperature really changes alot. I`m glad as I still can wash at home some days still.

    detailed a neighbor`s 2010 honda crv today using megs d166 ult. polishing wax . i really like this stuff, easy to use, easy on-off, very good correcting ability, nice finish. much better than megs d151 imo. we`ll have to see about it`s durability...

    Light polish with S40 & 5.5 Honey spider pads, more cut then they look. Had to follow up with Rupes white pad.
    Sealant, Vic`s hybrid wax
    Trunk lid, 1 coat PS21 100% `Nuba (lovely, hard ,slick immediately )
    Rearend, 1 coat DD Blackwidow (deep, flakes a popin`, slick)
    1 coat over both to seal the deal, DD Supernatural
    Wax (not as slick going on as PS21, after curing overnight, will surpass PS21 in depth, shine & slickness)

    @dieselwrench
    Lovely picture on your son pressure washes! Get a foamcannon for him to work with

    @Mary B
    Did you not get the desired finish with the honey spiderpad? Where it a big difference with white pad? Is it the new polisher if so what did you get?

    Love working from home. It used to take me 25-45+ minutes to get home.
    In the last 35 minutes I panel wiped and applied dlux to my trashed out cuda grill insert, wiped down my entire car with spray and wipe and enjoyed a detailers beverage.

    Have an office christmas party/meeting tomorrow so may add some more shine later

    Stopped at the coin wash to blast the salt and grime off. I was really surprised how well Gloss Coat cleaned up. My truck still needs a wash but its a lot better

    Re: What did you do detailing wise today?

    Before I sand the grill down and get it painted I decided to put my waning bottle of dlux to use before it crystalizes on me. Definitely made the piece a lot darker and it helped draw attention away from all the little chips. Also the beads are awesome.
