How hard is it to apply the gloss coat and to screw it up
And how many cc did you use on that

Gloss-Coat is EZPZ. You just need time, good lighting, CarPro Suede towels and a respirator (I hate breathing in chemical smells due to asthma). I do two panels at a time, then go back to the first one to knock down the high spots/streaks. Gloss-Coat gives you a lot of wiggle room until the coating streaks are cured too long to buff off with a soft towel. I`ve done the entire car before, cleaned up....came back for a final inspection and still had enough time to find a high spot/streak to buff off.
I`ll have to check to see how much I used. I didn`t actually check since I had a 20cc syringe and planned on coating 2 cars on Sunday but that black paint beat me up. I`m sure I used less than 10cc`s, but I`ll give you an exact number later.

It is super easy to apply. One of the easiest coatings I have applied.
I have tried both the suede applicators and the included foam applicator. I actually prefer the blue foam applicator. If prepped as shown it is much easier to use and more comfortable to hold than using the suede applicator and block.
It is also recommended to apply opti-seal 1 hour after the last coat of gloss coat to protect gloss coat from chemical etching and water spotting during the 7 day curing window. One coat of gloss coat is sufficient but I personally like to apply 2 coats of gloss coat followed by 1 coat of opti-seal.

Somewhat finished up the GFs car just a coat of paste wax and dressed the trim. Going to polish it out in a couple weeks and add CSL
Also cleaned the pads I`ve had laying around.

i remember when gloss coat first came out and i was upset because the product now came with only 10cc and i figured that was just not enough to do even an average size car. it sat on my shelf for quite awhile until i did a neighbor`s 2012 buick regal. i was pretty surprised that 10 cc was way more than enough to coat the vehicle fully and probably the easiest coating to apply i`ve used. just take your time and don`t rush it.
I washed my wife`s Durango. Had my first experience with my large speed wheel brush. So nice to get behind the wheel face and keep the new wheels clean. Well worth the money. On the hood I compared the Nanoskin fine grade pad and Mothers 80 gram clay. On both clay and pad, I used the Mothers detail spray. I could not find any difference in smoothness. On the wheels I applied Megs gold class paste wax. To remove the wax I used the Megs foam wheel cone on corded drill. The rest of her vehicle will get done tomorrow. Have a belly full tomorrow and take a tryptophan nap. Happy Thanksgiving.
