Re: What did you do detailing wise today?

could not stand it anymore. washed away 3 weeks of winter crud and quick interior. neighbors probably thought "what a nut job". finished with a quick wipe down of BF polymer spray. (all in a driveway packed with snow yet).

clean now! for a day or two.

Re: What did you do detailing wise today?

I admired my recent coat of BF Deep Gloss Spray. I had applied it over a week ago and just back from a 1500 mile round trip to Mississippi.

It rained a lot on the way down but the car still looks quite clean. The tires are a different story. They look awful.

The forecast is in the 60s next week end - not bad for early January.

Too cold to wash by hand so took my DD to a new wash in town thinking it was touchless and it wasn`t. Used Meg`s Quik Wax as a drying agent. Car was detailed in fall with BFWD and BFCS recently. Lookin` good.

Re: What did you do detailing wise today?

    Yesterday I gave my A6 a wash:

Tires and wells cleaned with CG All Clean.
Wheels cleaned with DP wheel cleaner using the Montana boars hair brush and Daytona wheel brush.

Washed with Pinnacle Bodywork Shampoo with a Car Pro Merino wool mitt on the upper panels and Micro-Chenille mitt on the lower areas.

Dried with the Master Blaster followed by some CG Speed Wipe and the Gold Plush Jr. mf`s.

The good news is the car looked great, the bad news is that it is raining today

Re: What did you do detailing wise today?

Today I quik detailed my car using two of my new "garden tools"....

    1. used my new leaf blower to blow off the leaves and dust, and blow out all the leaves that get in the wiper cavity - soooo easy - good cheap cordless one here:

    [ame="http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00602J2IS/"]Amazon.com: Black & Decker NSW18 18-Volt NiCad Cordless Sweeper: Patio, Lawn & Garden[/ame]

    2. did the garry dean thing with my Blackfire rinseless and MF`s, again using the above to blow most of the rinseless off....

    3. used my garden sprayer to soak my wheels with BF waterless.and clean them, I love the sprayer - no more "trigger finger fatigue" from a spray bottle on big jobs.

Hit the back half of my V with M105 and M205. Gonna do the rest next Friday on my day off and then give her a coat of M21 and M26.

Here is what the passenger rear quarter panel looked like. The whole cars looks like that too.

Off angle it doesn`t look to bad.

More pics when she is done. I will try to get more shots of the before loaded.
