Re: What did you do detailing wise today?

With the cold weather (below freezing) creeping in there isn`t a lot of work on the books. Time to re-vamp the website, clean up the shop, and cruise the forums to catch up whats being going on in the detail world since last winter.

Daughters new 2016 Ford Escape. New and in the plastic. This was a quick detail in cold weather and a detailer with only one good arm. Used IronX, clayed, several washes incuding a final wash with CarPro`s HydroFoam. Was quite inpressed with my first use of HydroFoam. If it gives me a couple of months I`ll have my arm back and be very happy.

Early ONR wash this morning. Even though it`s only 31 outside it`s still 43 in the garage. Decided to top my FK1000P with some BLACKFIRE Midnight Sun Carnauba Spray Wax. Even at a temp of 43, no problems at all.

Re: What did you do detailing wise today?

I did a rinseless wash with the Uber wash, good stuff. Also did a quick wipe over afterwards with V07 and touched up the tires with opt-bond. Not bad for 35 minutes worth of work. Gotta keep the ride looking sharp when its nice enough out to get outside. May not be able to in January...
