Re: What did you do detailing wise today?

IMHO If you are wanting to make the trim black then you will need a trim restore product with a black dye.
Most trim restore products will make the trim darker and look good but they do not restore that black look.

Yes, this bumper trim was gery.

A trim restore black dye product that is easy to apply and has excellent durability has long been a personal nemesis of mine.
My recent go-to combo is Shine Supply Trim Coat Black. Once applied, I cover the Trim Coat with DLUX for longevity & shine.

The plastic on my compressor has been showing it`s age. Took some Blackfire AIO and a microfiber towel and went to town.

Blackfire brought it back to life.

Not the best photos due to the glare picked up by phone.

^ What polish/polishes did you use on that Mustang? And is that the Sonus coating on it?

HD Adapt and a HD polishing pad. I had to use FG400 on a few areas that had some really serious etching.

Yes, that is Sonus Ion Paint Coating. I highly recommend it. It is my go to sealant/coating for customers.

I also coated the trim with Wolf`s Trim Coating and cleaned/conditioned the interior at no extra charge. I was conditioning the seats and wiping down the interior when I accidentally pushed the lock button and locked the keys in the car. The customer didn`t have a problem with it, but I thought it was unprofessional so I wanted to make it right.

1999 Cobra with 39k miles. Unfortunately my camera battery died so I had to use my cell phone. I`ve never seen so much compound residue baked into every crack and crevice on a car before. It turned hard too. Writeup coming soon.
