yeah, I didn`t expect anything and just wanted to make sure if I spliced the cord back together that it wouldn`t void the warranty. they said to send it in and they would replace it. pretty awesome. I`ve had zero problems out of the polisher for the past five years, so it`s held up very well.

What make and model do you drive Vega?
Thanks! I`m just going with bright white on the instrument panel on my 2000 Mercury Sable, so I`ll have the OEM green color, but much brighter with LED`s. But I would like to try red for all the other bulbs. Especially if I pull the trigger on this car audio build I`ve been thinking about...

Vega I get my LED`s from Diode Dynamics. They are made in the USA. They do cost a little more but I`ve been happy with their LED`s.
Thanks, I`ve only used SuperBrightLEDs.com before because they came highly recommended on the Maxima forums. But Made in the USA sounds great to me. I`ll check out Diode Dynamics.

    Dear Friends

My paw-in-law put new rotors and pads on our van today, and I spent three-plus hours cleaning the wheels. Tomorrow I`m going to polish and coat them, and apply Tuf Shine to the inner walls of the tires.

Here are some pictures from my iPhone showing one of the new rotors (Centric/StopTech Performance Series) and the van on my father-in-law`s fancy lift in his fancy two-story garage.

    With central air!

It is a hot one today. I have been working in the garage to organize things better. I also went through my detailing stuff to cull out stuff I need to give away or just throw away.

I was also soaking off labels from bottle to reuse. I learned Adam`s bottle do not like almost boiling water. They sag and loose their shape.

I applied Blackfire Midnight Sun Spray Wax to my truck then clayed the glass and cleaned the glass. I also detailed the truck bed for the first time. Photos and reviews to follow.
