Re: What did you do detailing wise today?

Woke up at 4am and started detailing the interior of my wife`s Mazda 3....

Then I detailed all the windows on both of our cars with Pinnacle Glass Kit.

Removed all previous water spots then coated.

Now I`m sitting here having a late breakfast while my windows are being tinted.

    Pics soon to come

    Today: I`m writing about yesterday
Yesterday: I cried about what I did two days ago
Two days ago: I used PB Black Hole for the first time. Followed it up with Liquid Natty`s Blue.

So why cry? Because I had no freaking clue it was going to rain yesterday!!!!

Here`s what it looked like before the rain got to it. (It`s supposed to rain again tomorrow and Wednesday, so I`ll wash it then).

Thanks. I will think about it some more. I don`t want to loose the reach and intact may try to increase it.

Re: What did you do detailing wise today?

I cleaned up my daily driver (over 87K miles) for the winter. I will maintain with Wolfgang Deep Spritz Sealant.

The front facia starting to show its age. I clayed the front then used M205 on it to clean it up a bit more. With the light, you can see a lot of little dings. Overall, paint is in very good shape except see some swirls around door pulls.

It was chilly out when I started to do it all in the garage today.

    Exposure: 30mm, 1/50 sec, f7.1, ISO 4000

    Products used:
    • Washed using Optimum No Rinse (2 bucket method with ONR in both buckets) using Duragloss wash mitts (around 7)
    • Jambs cleaned with Poorboy`s Spray and Wipe
    • Trim cleaned with Mothers Trim Cleaner
    • Trim protected with Blackfire Trim and Tire Sealant
    • Cleaned paint with Auto Finesse Tough Prep - like this a lot since it leaves paint clean and clear, wipe off is a breeze. Used a Rupes 15 with a blue Uber pad
    • Painted protected with Wolfgang Deep Paint Sealant
    • Tires cleaned/dressed with Mothers Back to Back Tire Renew and Mothers Reflections Tire Care
    • Plastic chrome cleaned/protected with Poorboys Polish with Sealant
    • Wheels shined with CG V7
    • Glass cleaned with Sprayway
