Re: What did you do detailing wise today?

I washed my daily driver in the garage.

    Products used
    • Paint: Blackfire Rinseless Wash with multiple Duragloss Wash Mits, dried with Pakshak microfiber towels. I topped the paint with Chemical Guys V7 Sealant/Detailer (first use)
    • Tires: Cleaned with Mothers Back to Black Tire Renew and dressed with Chemical Guys VRP (first use)
    • Wheels: Cleaned with Ultima Waterless Wash

    Entertainment courtesy of NPR.

Initial Impressions on first use products:

Chemical Guys VRP - looks like most white liquiid tire dressing. The product had a funky smell but spread evenly when applied to an applicator. It had a matte look (not especially trending to glossy).

Chemical Guys V7 Sealant/Detailer - applied with a Adam`s 4 ounce sampler (so fine spray). V7 has an addicting orange drink (Tang) smell. It was easy to apply and buffed off easily but it was applied on Blackfire so maybe that helped (did not hurt). It seems to dry fast. just a couple swipes, without any streaking. It worked well with the AG purple towels. For looks, I really did not notice that much wow but will judge tomorrow.
