Re: What did you do detailing wise today?

I did a quick maintenance wash on the wife`s car today.

    Products used
    • Washed wheels and wells with Griot`s Car Wash - just about used the last. It is so so on cleaning.
    • Pre-treated bumper with Poorboy`s Bug Squash 1:3
    • Washed paint with Poorboy`s mitt and Poorboy`s Super Slick and Suds
    • Dried with PakShak waffle weave microfiber towel
    • Dressed tires with Optimum Opti-bond
    • Cleaned jambs with Mothers Showtime - love the scent
    • Cleaned glass with Sprayway Glass Cleaner

Quick wash on the Civic after I saw it covered in Firework dust. Pinnacle XMT Shampoo & Conditioner, and Optimum Car Wax while drying.

So detailing-wise today, I built this LED Inspection Light from a Cymbal Stand. It has NO balance issues and adjusts up/down/angled/flat. All I had to buy was the LED. It`s a Cree 1400 lumens. $26 at Lowes.

Glad I didn`t add water to the pool, or I`d be draining some out now

Maintenance wash, threw on some bfwd spray sealant as drying aid. Poorboys pws and lnb were still doing well on the truck after three weeks. Paint cleaned up real nice. Gonna do black hole next time I think. He sure likes driving through shrubs on his ranch.

And his wife`s truck got pinnacle Lgrw.
