I see what you are going to be doing all weekend LOL. A lot of surface area to cover. Both inside and outside.

Possibly. Sometimes manufacturers make it so that the back glass opens as well so if repositioned it would break the arm. Then in that case is sits on a bracket type of holder

What did you do detailing wise today?

There is a storage catch for the wiper arm where it sits. I’ve got an Armada and it’s the same way. And as to what civic said back glass opens as well.

Okay did not think about the glass could have a second hatch. Just saw like it`s was not going so far on the other end and then back under the glass. Is that a smooth path between where it starts and on to the glass?

So overlook my comment before civicclutch!

I wouldn’t call it smooth like it the front wipers are but considering it makes a jump from panel to panel it’s pretty unnoticeable. I will say they wear faster imo due to that.

I don’t feel bad now for how long it takes to wash my vehicles when they look like that 2-2.5 hrs is normal. Rinseless takes me roughly 1-1.5 hrs pending how dirty. Add clay and clean and it a lot more.

I’ve got one I’ll post pics up off because I need some insight. Will get some later or tomorrow

Pretty much all I seem to do is large SUVs and full size pickups. Done 1 care exterior and it got a wash and wax. And 1 car interior and it was basically new. Goes to show what people drive around here lol.

I am glad though that I’m in that neighborhood for wash, clay, dry. Must be learning some tips and trick from all of you pros

So you clayed with no polishing? No marring? Interested as I would like to clay more (blow up?). What do you use that doesn’t mar?

He’s not finished. He said he has until Tuesday to finish so 3 days I’d guess interior, pain correction and possibly a coating

It`s not getting a coating just a good sealant after doing a 2 step, and then a full interior with 3rd row seating all leather. The only thing going my way so far is that they had weather tech floor mats. I had planned on 3-3.5 hrs for wash and clay, and I have a photographer friend coming tonight for photos for my website

Re: What did you do detailing wise today?

I feel the pain good sir. Just did wifes last weekend and it’s about 18-24” shorter overall so thankfully not as much real estate. But it’s got 3 row with leather. I was a horrible person and hadn’t done the interior since July. Needless to say it took a lot. I want weathertechs but Lordy are they proud for 3 rows and the back cargo liner. I know I’m getting them prior to next winter though. Just gonna have to bite that bullet. Only way it would be nice is if there was no carpet. But I don’t know many folks that like the vinyl floor look.

50/50s, first one is before and buff with bf src compound on b&s eurofiber and second is buff and polish polished with menz final finish on b&s euro foam pad yellow. I`m not going any fine or deeper as I`m not getting paid for it.

What did you do detailing wise today?

Got the explorer in. Man it looks rough. Plan is a rinseless, 10 degrees out so no 2bm even though I’d like to. Iron remover and rinse with rinseless. Clay and one step. Then the inside is getting cleaned up. Main goal is to make the floor look better. Imo the seats are in ok shape for 217k. Then clean the rest. We will see what the afters look like but here are befores.

Any pointers for this interior are welcome.

    Going to start later.
