Today`s project. Wouldn`t be so bad if I wasn`t doing it on 3-3.5 hrs of sleep. Gotta love monster max energy drinks

I got up the other morning to wash the car and discovered I had a flat tire so ended up taking it in to get the tire plugged.

Sorry that happened Al. That’s one of my real pet peeves. One day you have a perfect set of tires, the next you’ve got one that’s been repaired and that’s assuming you were lucky enough to have a hole that was repairable. Just one of those things that bugs me.

Re: What did you do detailing wise today?

Washed 2 outra 3 cars, got to use some new to me stuff.

    Griots Foaming Surface Wash:
1.6oz with about 600ml water in MTM PF22 Foam Cannon, SunJoe SPX3001 Pressure washer.

Nice scent, coconut reminds me of being at beach which is a nice touch. Initial coverage impressive but doesn`t seem to cling to recommended dwell time on coated car. By 4 minutes starting to run off significantly. Seems to rinse easier than my usual (Gyeon Foam @ 10:1).

Not sure if I like the Gyeon or Griots better yet. Hard to tell if one cleans better than other as cars not overly dirty.

Polish Angel Supersport Wheel Coating (actually more of a wheel sealant methinks):
Like all the PA stuff I`ve used, just a joy to work with. Used on my wheels coated with Kamikaze Stance about 13 months, 24k miles ago as well as wife`s wheels coated with Gyeon Rim about 14 months, 6k miles ago. Added some nice gloss to the black painted areas, upped the luster of the clear coated aluminum areas. Nice change of pace, will see how it holds up.

Figured what the heck and used it on polished, stainless exhaust tips I used Polish Angel Palladium on a few weeks ago.

Supersport also adds some slickness and a nice feel to the surfaces I used it on.

Also managed to work in 3 different drying towels: Griots large PFM, Gyeon Large Silk Dryer and new to me Rag Company Twist & Shout Drying Towel.

Griots is still King w 2 sides of water sucking goodness but gets a bit hard to handle on lower vertical surfaces.

Gyeon with only 1 side of twisted loop surface a bit easier to handle, can still handle single car with 1 large one but it`s running out of absorbency by end of car.

Rag Company seems to have a little less length/plushness to its twisted loops so while I made it thru a car with single towel, it was pretty saturated and leaving faint moisture trails by end of car. Definately likely need 2 for best results but it`s the easiest and most manageable to use. Wonder if this one would work well while using a drying aid?

Calling for rain after Wednesday, so a quick wash, Duragloss #253 on the tires, and another coat of 10 min. paint sealant. I am really liking this sealant. Easy spray on and wipe off. No streaks. Looks are stunning. Insane water beading. Great self cleaning ability. What more could you ask for? I would like to try the BF spray sealant in the future. Did this all before the sun and heat hit.

Washed and prepped this for winter. I just love repeat customers who have me take care of their vehicles regularly. Quick polish with finish kare pad glaze, sealed with fk1000p, then topped with finish kare polywipe sealant.

I did a touchless wash on both my cars. It looks like a little film is left on the wagon but looks like the Audi came completely clean. I use a couple oz of 3D Super Pre-Soak and FastFoam.

A RW with Pinnacle. To try out my carts new towel bin.
Which is cavernous. Exactly what I wanted, something
to hold a ton of towels then fold away when not in use.

2 Pop rivets did the trick

Used some elec. wire across the back for stability,
then when I fold it up, the wire slides up to hold it.

Weekly wash. Forgot how nice it is to use Mckee’s SiO2 wash.

Base coating is CQUK 3.0 + Gliss. Washed with SiO2 wash and touched up with Carapro Ech2o as a drying aid.

Giving PA Presto Detail 500ml. One more shot.
First I wiped the light dust & smudges off,
with PBs S&G which has the same description but no ‘Nuba. This was as usual an enjoyable productive experience.
On to the Presto Detail.. sprayed it on half the trunk, felt super dry. Buffed it out to see that it was pulling the fibers off my 500 Eagles.
Spayed it on the towel, same thing. A dry application feel, with a trail of towel lint stuck to the paint.
I dunno, guessing Presto will be a 40$ 16oz. drying aid.
PBs will get my money presto,at 35$ a Gal.

I received a couple of boxes from AG today and fought the heat and put it away into my garage. I also had a box full in my bathroom that I finally moved to the garage also. Don’t want to turn into Ron and hoard unopened boxes, lol.
